*This is their schedule details, if a student was synced with an older program / schedule but later switched to a 2025 schedule, you may need to update it.
*Students who are ‘last minute’ contracts may not have these details on day one - we should be confirming that our future start students are updated correctly in Edular. You can also go to Users - search for the student - Activity Log (then Activity Log) to see when their profile was last updated (or synced with Freedom). Along with updating their track and shift details, you will need to update their status to Currently Attending, add a starting term (ex: If September 30, 2025 is the start date, starting term would be Campus - September 2025) and then under their user profile, you can update the student & user ID to their freedom ID.
Invalid QR code could be due to a time setting on the users device vs the time setting on the iPad. To update:
Apple Device:
Go to Settings > General > Date & Time.
Turn off Set Automatically. Is this setting dimmed?
Change the time zone or the date and time: Tap Time Zone and enter a city with the time zone that you need. Or tap the date to change the date and time.
Android Device:
Open your device's Clock app .
Tap More. Settings. To pick your home time zone: Tap Home time zone. To add a clock for home while in another time zone: Turn on Automatic home clock. To automatically update the time: Tap Change date and time. Turn Automatic date and time on.
Pro Tip: You can go ahead and manually clock the student and troubleshoot afterwards.
To do this on the app:
Go to Academics - Registrar - Attendance - Click Pink Icon and Click Add Manual to add the students clock in time.
Go to Academics - Registrar - Attendance - Roll Call - Search for student name to click the green icon to clock the student in.
To do this on the web:

If you have access to the Academic Affairs module - the process is the same.
